Ramps

Here at Frangeli Consulting & Remodeling, Inc we carry a variety of ramping materials that range from traditional wood or wood laminate, to galvanized steel, to aluminum that can be utilized to construct your ramp. Each material has it’s own pros and cons list so be sure to ask one of our representatives which material is right for your application.

Like most projects that are designed around someone that is dealing with the effects of a stroke or some other type of special need, there is a bit more planning and extras that go into designing and building a ramp for it to be safe for the person in the wheelchair and the caregiver. It has been our experience that almost 100% of the time our client’s severely underestimate the size, shape and scope work associated with the proper installation of a ramp.

Other remodeling companies who may install a traditional wooden ramp from time to time, will build you just about anything that you request, however, this does not necessarily mean that your request or their suggestions are exactly what you need to make life as easy and independent as possible. The absolute worst case scenario is that after your ramp has been completed and paid for in full, the final product does not meet your needs and is unsafe for either the person in the wheelchair or the caregiver pushing them.
