When selecting the professional remodeler, be sure they have plenty of experience with your type of project.
Ask the potential remodeler for references that you can call and speak with about their past work.
Check with the Better Business Bureau as well as your local department of consumer affairs to see if there are any complaints lodged against the remodeler in question.
Verify that the remodeler has the appropriate licenses and insurance.
